Carmet have a long history of involvement with the film and television industry, and have supplied vessels both as part of the action as film platforms.  We are in a unique position to supply a wide range, from period wooden boats to modern vessels, and, with our connections with the civil engineering industry can supply a wide range of floating equipment.

In the past we have worked with the Central Office of Information in the production of sea safety documentaries and have featured in numerous films and documentaries concentrating on the towage industry.

The first feature film in which Carmet were involved was the Walt Disney production, ‘Haakon Haakensen’ for which we provided period wooden boats, personnel and the launch ‘Verity’ as a film platform
