Captain Metcalfe and John Craven from the BBC filming the

Manchester Ship Canal on board Pilot Launch ‘Venom’

Recently our Pilot Launch ‘Venom’ was involved in the filming
of BBC’s Country file.

Filming took place involving Mr Cyril Wood author of ‘The Big Ditch’ and his interest in the Manchester Ship Canal.

Interviews were carried out with Captain Metcalfe, Managing Director of Carmet Tugs and Mr Dean Hammond, General Manager
of the Manchester Ship Canal.
